FANTASTIC! The rooms and facilities are brilliant, but the staff are even better! They are SO attentive and can't do enough for you! We were away to the temple from a very early start, and they messaged us to see if we would like our room made up as we hadn't indicated so. As I had no data, they phoned our guide later on to ask us. This is really typical of our experience here. The restaurant and bar area are also amazing. You must stay here!
The staff here were truly kind, heartful, and friendly. Even though I caused them a lot of trouble, they sincerely listened to us and solved every problem I had The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options, including vegan menus. At night, they lit candles for us, creating a romantic atmosphere. The room we stayed in was so cute and cozy, and they even prepared an accessible room for a family member with mobility issues. Thanks to all of this, I truly felt that I want to come back to this place again
I don't understand why Amata Borobudur Resort is rated as a 3-star hotel only, although the services we received during our stay here were 5-star! The location is strategic, really close to many attractions in Borobudur. The hotel ambience is amazing, serene and you feel close to nature. The room is clean and spacious, with elegant touch combining modern and traditional design. The staff - this is the highlight of this resort - highly attentive, super friendly, and make you feel like home. Good starting point for a visit for Borobudur. A Resort with wooden bungalows, airco and luxury. Also a swimming pool is on the premises. Good breakfast and dinner! One minus is the noice of the road until Midnight. But earplugs can solve that.
